How do I write? A Writing Process Blog Tour

I was tagged by a very awesome up incoming author Daevone (@Daevone_M) and you can read about his writing process with his medieval fantasy novel here.  I am thankful for the opportunity to share my writing process.

How do I write? – A writing process blog tour

What am I working on at the moment?

The Foretold is the name of my novella that I am working on as of now. It’s a mix of fantasy and action and the preview of an Urban Fantasy novel that I’m working on. It’s the important part of the story that tells you how thirteen creatures from the Magical world of Crystalline, managed to get stuck on amnesia-ridden on earth, each with a part of vision that could help figure out how to stop the collision of both worlds.

How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I’ve managed to combine a few mythologies in one. Having Fairies, Sirens, and werewolves together with a whole bunch of other creatures I love. Plus each writer has twisted creative mind that differs from one another.

Why do I write what I do?

I’ve always been into paranormal and fantasy things while young. I couldn’t be magical in real life so why not create somewhere I could? The dive into the fantasy and paranormal world has been the best part of my life.

How does my writing process work?

I have depended very heavily on the program called Scrivener to help me get organized and I find it works the best for this novella.
The novella is in three parts. I used to do no planning but find it easy to get caught in the web of writers block. So I plan More Now and outline sparingly.
I try to write a scene a day unless it’s a big scene that needs attention then I write half one day then half the other day.
Editing is where I really try to find plot holes and connect the story from scenes into one my first go around. Second and third are for grammar and emotion place.

And that’s about it…thanks for reading.

I don’t have anyone to nominate at the moment but it’s open for writers who want to share their process.
